La pieza que se pintará está eléctricamente conectada a tierra. Las partículas de polvo cargadas son atraídas con firmeza a la superficie de la parte puesta a tierra hasta que se funda (Polimerice) en una capa lisa en el horno de curado. Es mucho más duradera que las pinturas líquidas y es un proceso respetuoso del medio ambiente.
