Rapid Temperature Increase and Minimal Floor Space Required
Typically the use of infra-red will cause the intended process to be sped up by a rate of 3:1. In other words, if the process time was 30 minutes it can often be reduced to 10 minutes. Because of this fact, the required floor space can be reduced as well.

Catalytic infra-red is produced by a flameless reaction. The bi-products of this flameless reaction are CO2, water vapor and long to medium wave infra-red heat
